Z36 scanning and copying
Digitize plans, make copies, and preview edits in SmartWorks MFP. The 15.6-inch touchscreen controller provides tools for deskewing, cropping, brightness adjustment, and viewing files before saving. Dual LED illumination helps capture detail in folded documents.

Software and workflow
Canon provides Direct Print Plus for batch output, Free Layout Plus for nesting and page arrangement, PosterArtist for template-based poster design, Accounting Manager for ink/media tracking, and Media Configuration Tool for managing media profiles. Refer to Canon's current downloads for operating-system compatibility. PRISMAproduce Tech is an additional workflow option; confirm licensing and configuration separately.

Warranty and service
Printer coverage: Canon includes a printer warranty statement with this model. Coverage and eligibility follow the supplied Canon warranty terms.
Printhead coverage: A separate printhead warranty statement is included; refer to it for the applicable period, usage limits, and conditions.
Scanner and controller components: The MFP system includes components made by third parties. Any applicable third-party limited warranties pass to the purchaser under their own terms; Canon does not provide warranty coverage for those third-party offerings.
Optional extended service: Eligible imagePROGRAF eCarePAK plans can extend coverage to as much as five years total, depending on the selected plan. Extended service is sold separately.
Environmental certifications
Canon identifies the printer as EPEAT Gold registered in the U.S. and ENERGY STAR certified, with EPS-free packaging and increased recycled material in the chassis.
